Motor Racing Services was founded by Michael Ritter in 1998
and over the past 12 years has firmly established itself as
the team best able to guide young aspiring drivers from
junior categories such as Formula Ford, to become
professional drivers able to work comfortably in a pressure
filled environment.
Since its inception, Sonic has delivered a level a
preparation and professionalism not before seen in the
Australian Formula Ford Championship. This approach has seen
the team challenge for the championship over the past ten
years, with Sonic drivers wining the 2001, 2002, 2004, 2007
and 2009 Australian Formula Ford Championships.
In 2005 Sonic Motor Racing Services initiated the next step
in what it anticipates will be the progression to becoming
one of Australia’s most successful teams, competing in the
V8 Supercar Championship Series. The team entered a pair of
996 Porsche GT3 Cup Cars in the Australian Carrera Cup
Championship, alongside its Australian Formula Ford
Championship commitments.

FORMULA FORD CONFIRMS 2012 CALENDAR 
The Australian Formula Ford Championship has finalised its eight round calendar for the 2012 season, which will see the category return to the Bathurst 1000 program for the first time since 2004.
19-year-old young gun Nick Foster was a stand out performer in the final round of the Porsche City Index Carrera Cup at the Sydney Telstra 500 in New South Wales this weekend.
Nick Foster will make his Porsche City Index Carrera Cup Australia debut this weekend at the Sydney Telstra 500 at Sydney Olympic Park in New South Wales.
